At the Regular Meeting of Council, scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025, Council is considering giving first, second and third readings to Bylaw 6056, “4900 Pleasant Valley Road Zoning Amendment Bylaw 6056, 2025”. This bylaw proposes to rezone the property located at 4900 Pleasant Valley Rd from MUA – Multi-Unit Acreage: Small Scale to MUS – Multi-Unit: Small Scale to allow for a one lot subdivision around the existing home on-site and to allow for a future multi-family development on the lower portion of the subject property.
A public hearing on the bylaw is not being held, in accordance with Sec. 464(2) of the Local Government Act, as an Official Community Plan (OCP) is in effect for the area and the proposed bylaw is consistent with the OCP.
