Are you just starting out on your exercise journey or returning from an extended absence from fitness? Are you interested in learning how to work on machines to create a cardio or strength workout? Are you a fitness veteran looking to shake up your routine with new and fresh ideas? Are you an athlete looking to build or excel at your sport? Our certified personal trainer(s) can help you meet these goals and many more.
Hiring a Personal Trainer is a great way to achieve results and reach your exercise, fitness, and/or health goals. Working with a trainer may result in:
• improved overall fitness level
• establishing a regular exercise plan through accountability, confidence, and motivation
• improved understanding of correct use of exercise equipment
• improved exercise form.
Your trainer will provide you one-on-one training with an individual exercise plan based on your goals and your current fitness level. We look forward to helping you maintain an active life.
What to Expect at your First Appointment:
At your first personal training session, we’ll start by reviewing your Personal Training Intake Form and having a conversation about your goals, fitness background, and any limitations. From there, your trainer will walk you through your personalized training plan and ensure you feel confident using the equipment safely. You’ll also learn proper technique for foundational exercises so you can train effectively and prevent injury. This session is all about setting you up for success and building a strong foundation for your fitness journey. Clients are encouraged to email their completed Personal Training Intake Form to activeliving@vernon.ca at least 48 hours in advance of their appointment to help their trainer prepare. Alternatively, clients can bring their completed form to their first appointment.
