Tiny Tots Preschool

Registration is open for the September 2024 - June 2025 Tiny Tots School Year.

Register on-line or in person at the Vernon Recreation Centre, you can also schedule program payments.

NOTE: At time of registration, a registration deposit equivalent of one months program fee will be charged and is not refundable, but will be applied to Tiny Tots last payment, June.

Registrants will need to provide the registration deposit and a payment type for the remaining nine monthly fees, Visa or MC that will be processed on the first business day of each month or nine (9) postdated cheques, payable to City of Vernon and dated the first of every month September 1 to May 1. ($25.00 service charge for cheques returned NSF by your bank.)

Please ensure to update your child information on their on-line recreation account (Add a photo, Health Care Card #, Emergency Contacts and those who are authorized to pick up your child).

We require a two-week notice of withdrawal from the Tiny Tots program. Charges will be made according to when the notice is given. In case of the cancellation of a class a full refund will be provided.

Tiny Tot fees are tax deductible. Keep your receipts or download them from your recreation account at any time for tax purposes.

Tiny Tots History and our staff

This popular preschool is home to 80 students every year, but it had a very humble beginning. Tiny Tots was introduced in the 1970’s as an eight week play gym program. Tiny Tots became licensed in 1977 and has evolved into one of the most popular programs for preschool aged children.

Miss Jaclyn is an early childhood educator in the Tiny Tots - Discovery Classroom and bringing years of child care experience, and a passion for teaching, after retiring from 17yr career as a Lifeguard & Swim Instructor. Jaclyn is certified in Early Childhood Education, Food Safe and Standard First Aid with CPR-C & AED. Jaclyn is passionate about helping children develop their critical thinking skills, learning through active play; inquiry based learning, and child-centered focused curriculum as a way to connect and give children a solid foundation to grow from.
Miss Kat is an early childhood educator in the Tiny Tots - Ogopogo Classroom. Miss Kat started at Tiny Tots in 2011 and has been working with children since 1996, including operating her own daycare. Katrina Katrina is certified in Early Childhood Education and Standard First Aid with CPR-C & AED. Katrina loves teaching preschool, & being apart of the children's early learning means a great deal to her.
Miss Courtney is an early childhood educator in the Tiny Tots - Ogopogo Classroom. Courtney is a mother of two and has been working in the childcare field for 15years. Courtney used to own her own child care center and recently sold it to become a hobby farmer! Courtney is certified in Early Childhood Education and Standard First Aid with CPR-C & AED. Courty looks forward to teaching and caring for your children.
