A rezoning amendment to Zoning Bylaw Number 5000 is being considered for the subject property and, in accordance with the Local Government Act, a public hearing is not required. Council will consider initial readings of this bylaw at the Regular Council meeting of January 9, 2023. This rezoning amendment proposes to rezone Lot 1, Sec 31, Twp 9, ODYD, Plan EPP48289 (173 Vineyard Way) from RTR: Resort Residential and RTC: Resort Commercial to RTR: Resort Residential. The applicant intends to develop multi-family buildings (i.e. townhouse) for permanent occupancy. The proposed rezoning amendment is consistent with the Official Community Plan.
