To complete a business licence application, you will need the following information:
- Business Name, address, contact information, business start date, and a brief description of your business.
- Home-based Business: DCT Home Based Minor Form
- Non-Profit Organization: Societies Act Certificate of Incorporation
There will be a non-refundable application fee (in addition to the Licence fee as calculated). This fee will be collected during the licence application process, with the remaining amount due online after you receive an approval email. The processing time for a new business licence is approximately three weeks but may take longer due to the complexity of certain licence types. If you have questions about your application, feel free to contact us at buslicence@vernon.ca or visit the Community Services Building in person.
