The City of Vernon is continuously working to promote a healthy, enjoyable and safe community by encouraging residents to plant trees.
Through the Trees for Tomorrow program, Vernon residents can receive a $75 voucher toward the purchase of a tree(s) at local garden centres: Nicholas Alexander Home & Garden, Swan Lake Market & Garden, or The Flower Spot.
Fill out the form below to enter the tree voucher draw. The deadline to register is April 21, 2026, at 11:59 pm. Winners will be randomly selected and notified via email on Earth Day (April 22, 2026).
- Participants will have 2 weeks to pick up their voucher, or a new winner will be drawn.
- Limited to City of Vernon residents, one voucher per property.
- You may also call the Community Safety Office (250-550-7840) or visit in person to register.
Benefits of Trees
Trees can help offer energy cost savings by providing shade, reducing sound and dust pollution to your property, and reducing the impacts of stormwater on flood events—all while enhancing the value of your property.
