The City of Vernon is responsible for the development of long range plans that guide development and growth in the community. These plans provide residents and the development community with a clear vision and direction for how the city will change as more people choose to live here.
Official Community Plan
Vernon’s Official Community Plan is the guiding document for growth and development for the city. It outlines what sort of place Vernon will be in the future. The plan focuses primarily on land use, transportation, environmental policies and other aspects of development. For access to PDFs, see Official Community Plan Bylaw. For additional plans and strategies, see Supplementary Plans.
