Citizens are invited to virtually attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM), to be held on June 28, 2021. The meeting will begin at approximately 5:00 p.m. following the Regular Council Meeting.
The purpose of the AGM is to present the 2020 Annual Report. This report includes a variety of information pertaining to 2020 including the Audited Financial Statements; operational summaries of the various City Divisions; and statistical information. There will also be an opportunity for citizens to make submissions and ask questions regarding the 2020 Annual Report.
Further to the Order of the Provincial Health Officer on Gatherings and Events – May 26, 2021, in-person attendance at public meetings is prohibited until such time the Order is rescinded or amended. Therefore, the City encourages those who would like to speak at the AGM to submit written comments or request to participate in the meeting via ZOOM.
To submit written comments, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, June 28, 2021. Alternatively, written submissions can be delivered to the Finance Department, City of Vernon, 3400 - 30th Street, Vernon, B.C. V1T 5E6 by the deadline aforementioned.
To speak orally at the meeting, please email email@example.com by Noon on Monday, June 28, 2021. You will be forwarded a ZOOM link and added to the speakers list.
