Welcome Back & BBQ Event - The Vernon Tennis Association

Hello everyone! 🎾
We’re excited to kick off a new tennis season and invite you to our Welcome Back Event on Saturday, May 16 at 9:00 AM.
This is a fun, social morning designed to help everyone reconnect and enjoy some great tennis—not a tournament, just good play and good company.
Event Format
First hour: 15-minute games so we can mix, match, and get a feel for everyone’s level
Second hour: Grouped play (approximately 3.5 & below, and 3.5 & above), depending on turnout

Text Alex at 250-317-2645 with your name (and anyone else you'd like to register)
Deadline: Noon, May 13
Barbecue
We’ll have burgers, smokies, drinks, and chips ready for you!
Cost
Just $5, payable at check-in (less than a Starbucks coffee ☕)
Extras
Feel free to bring something to share—salads, cookies, etc. are always welcome!
Awards
And just to add a little extra excitement — current club members will also have a chance to win a $2 million prize! 😊
Chairs
We have limited seating, so you may want to bring your own chair.
