A temporary lane closure will be in effect on Silver Star Road this week to allow Public Works crews to sweep traffic islands in the area.
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on April 16, the southbound lane of Silver Star Road will be closed. Motorists will be detoured via Phoenix Drive to Foothills Drive before returning to Silver Star Road. View the detour map.
The work is expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. the same day, subject to weather conditions and other factors.
Northbound traffic will not be affected. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, use alternate routes where possible, and follow all posted traffic control signage.
