Outdoor Activities
As the Trails Capital of BC, the Vernon Outdoors Club is proud to host a free public hike in Kalamalka Provincial Park. Sign-in will begin at 8:30 am
and the hike will begin at 9:30 and finish at around 12 noon. Meeting Place: Yellow Gate Main Parking Lot, 14501 Kidston Road.
Families with children over 6 years of age are welcome! No hiking experience is necessary. You only have to be able to walk on a trail! Closed-toe
shoes are required. Please bring water and wear appropriate clothing for the weather. VOC will supply an energy bar to each participant.
NOTE: Pre-Sign-up is required in order for us to plan the guided hike by
