Motorists travelling along Tronson Road are advised of a temporary westbound lane closure while crews complete repairs to a sanitary lift station.
Starting at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 4, Tronson Road will be closed to westbound traffic between Palmer Road and Scott Road. Work is expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. the same day, weather and site conditions permitting.
A detour will be in place via Palmer Road and Scott Road to help motorists navigate around the work area (see map below).
Motorists should anticipate minor delays and are encouraged to allow extra travel time. For the safety of workers and the public, drivers are reminded to obey all traffic control signage, follow posted detours and reduce speed when travelling near the work zone.
The City of Vernon appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation while crews complete this important infrastructure repair.
A map of the work area and detour is available below.
