The Active Living Centre is opening soon, bringing a new chapter in recreation to Vernon, and residents are invited to become a founding member.
Pre-sales for memberships at the new Vernon Active Living Centre will start on November 1. Community members who sign up for a membership before December 31 will be among the first to experience this new community destination for swimming, fitness, play, wellness and connection.
On top of being part of this milestone moment for Vernon, people who purchase a membership by December 31 will receive their first month free with a minimum three-month commitment, a free 10-visit guest pass to bring friends or family, and a commemorative gold membership card.
In addition to pre-sales perks, members will receive the regular member benefits that are always available to monthly and annual membership card holders:
- 25 per cent discount on select merchandise (e.g., towels, goggles and other recreation related items)
- A discount on select registered programs (e.g., swim lessons, fitness classes and other recreation programs)
- Complimentary fitness consultation and personalized fitness plan with a trainer
Beginning this Sunday, November 1, memberships can be purchased online by phone and in person at the Vernon Recreation Centre. In-person membership sales will move to the Active Living Centre starting December 1.
Community members wishing to purchase a membership online must first create a Vernon Recreation account in person at the Vernon Recreation Centre with photo identification to verify eligibility for the Vernon Resident Program.
