The City of Vernon advises that public access to the Community Services Building will be temporarily impacted from Monday, October 19, through Friday, October 23, as crews perform maintenance on the concrete steps and entrance area.
From Monday, October 19, to Thursday, October 22, access through the building's main entrance will be limited. On Friday, October 23, the main entrance will be fully closed to the public, and in-person services will not be available at this location.
The facility will remain operational on Friday, with staff available to assist residents with inquiries and service requests by phone or email at 250-550-3634 or csbreception@vernon.ca.
During Friday's closure, residents are advised of the following service adjustments:
- General inquiries: Staff will remain available to assist by phone or email.
- Payments: In-person payments can be made at Vernon City Hall.
- Permit pickups: Residents requiring permit pickups are asked to make arrangements to collect them no later than Thursday, October 22, or wait until Monday, October 26, when regular public access is expected to resume.
Regular public access is anticipated to resume on Monday, October 26.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience these temporary access restrictions may cause and appreciates the public's patience and understanding.
