The City of Vernon is once again partnering with local business organizations to connect directly with business owners and gather valuable insights through its annual Business Walks program.
In recognition of Small Business Week, the business walks will take place on Tuesday, October 20, and provide a brief five- to ten-minute check-in with local business owners and managers. These conversations are designed to gather feedback, learn about current challenges and opportunities, and explore how local business support organizations can help.
This year's event is a partnership between:
- City of Vernon
- Community Futures North Okanagan
- Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce
- Downtown Vernon Association
- Okanagan College
The information gathered will help the City's Economic Development Department and community partners inform future programs, resources, and initiatives. It will also provide insight into what's working well and identify opportunities to further support Vernon's vibrant business community.
The City appreciates the time and perspectives shared by participating businesses, which help staff and community partners better understand the current business environment and local needs.
