The City of Vernon is reminding residents and visitors to plan ahead as the Sundog Festival of Arts & Culture takes place at Polson Park on Friday, September 18 and Saturday, September 19.
Festival attendees who are driving are encouraged to arrive early and use designated parking areas in and around Polson Park. There is free parking available at City Hall after 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19 and all day on Saturday, Sept. 20 for the Sundog Festival. A bike and e-scooter valet is available at the festival, and attendees are encouraged to carpool and use alternate forms of transportation to get to the event.

Increased pedestrian, cycling and vehicle traffic is expected in and around Polson Park during festival hours. Motorists travelling through the area are reminded to use caution and watch for increased pedestrian and cycling activity.
