The City of Vernon advises motorists that traffic work will take place at the intersection of 27 Street and 48 Avenue on Monday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 4:00 a.m. to approximately 4:00 p.m. each day.
City crews will be upgrading traffic signal equipment at the intersection to help improve traffic flow and operations.
During this work, the intersection will operate as a four-way stop, and some lanes will be closed. Drivers should expect delays and may wish to choose an alternate route.
Please slow down and follow all posted signs, traffic controls, and detours. A map of the work area is included below.
