Motorists travelling along 39th Avenue and 29th Street can expect minor delays as crews complete water utility infrastructure upgrades in the area.
Beginning at 6:30 a.m. on April 30, 2026, a portion of 39th Avenue will be closed to westbound traffic (see map below). Work is expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m.
Local access will be maintained where possible, and detour routes will be in place.
While some disruptions are anticipated, every effort will be made to minimize impacts to traffic. Timelines may change due to weather or other factors.
For everyone’s safety, please obey all traffic control signage and reduce speeds when travelling through the work zone.
