Road Update
The City of Vernon is advising motorists of a temporary road closure on Tronson Road, while crews perform sanitary maintenance in the area.
Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2026, the westbound lane of Tronson Road between Okanagan Landing Road and Lakeshore Road will be closed and is expected to be open by 5:00 p.m., subject to weather and other factors. A detour will be in place with the map included below.
Drivers are reminded to follow all posted signage, slow down in construction zones, and remain alert for workers, pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we perform this necessary work.
