The City of Vernon is excited to invite the community to Party for the Park, a special celebration of Phase 2 of the Polson Park Vernon Creek Naturalization Project. Join us at the Polson Artisan Night Market, for an evening filled with music and family-friendly activities in the heart of one of Vernon’s most cherished green spaces.
The event begins with remarks from City officials and project partners, highlighting the benefits of the naturalization work. This important work is focused on improving the ecological health and long-term sustainability of Vernon Creek and the surrounding areas.

Get ready for a diverse mix of local talent from indie surf rock, acoustic-pop, and some laid-back country tunes.

Activities for all ages
In addition to a suite of musical talent, we’re bringing plenty of fun for the whole family! Evan the Juggler will perform on stage and host interactive sessions to teach kids how to juggle.
You’ll also find face painters and a caricature artist, and two bouncy castles to keep the fun going all evening.
We’re hosting this in conjunction with the Polson Artisan Night Market, featuring a diverse selection of local vendors, artists, and makers offering handmade goods, treats, and treasures.
Event Parking
Free event parking is available within a short walking distance to the event grounds. Guests are asked to prioritize parking in the Polson lot and Science Centre lot, with additional parking at the Wholesale Club lot and the McMurray Group lot across from the A&W.
