Motorists travelling along 25th Avenue may experience minor travel delays over the next three weeks, while crews repair the road. Preliminary work is now underway, in preparation for repaving in a couple weeks.
Starting as early as Monday, August 28, crews will be repaving a portion of 25th Avenue from 41st Street to west of 43rd Street (please see map below). Construction will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.
Two-way traffic will be maintained; however, motorists should expect short delays. Once paving begins, the work is expected to take one week to complete, weather dependent. Due to the nature of the work being performed, there may be short durations of difficulties accessing businesses and homes during the construction period.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and be courteous to other residents and workers in construction zones. Please obey all traffic control measures. The City thanks everyone for their patience while this work is being completed.
