Property owners may be eligible for a home owner grant from the Province of BC. To avoid penalties and interest on outstanding taxes related to unclaimed grants, apply before the due date of July 2.
Effective January 1, 2027, the additional grant amount of $200 for northern and rural properties that was introduced as part of the home owner grant program to offset the effects of carbon tax, has now ended.
