The City of Vernon would like to advise the public that the City’s residential waste collection contractor has suspended service for the remainder of today (January 28), due to winter storm conditions.
Any residences that have experienced missed pickups today are asked to place their garbage curbside by 7:00 a.m. tomorrow (Friday) for collection. If any residences experience missed pickups on Friday, please place your garbage on the curb at 7:00 a.m. for collection on Saturday.
The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates everyone’s understanding in this delay.
