Road Update
The City of Vernon will be grinding and repaving 27 St. between 32 Ave. and 39 Ave. starting October 1, 2018. In order to maintain site safety and reduce wait times the majority of works will be done during nighttime hours to avoid high traffic volumes and reduce impact on the surrounding area. Construction hours will be 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. However, road closures and detours will be in effect during work hours. Grinding and paving will take approximately 4 to 5 days to complete.
Although every reasonable effort will be made to minimize the disruption to traffic, motorists should be prepared for minor delays.
We ask the traveling public to be patient, slow down and obey all traffic control.
