Hirano Sensei of the Vernon Buddhist Temple will lead a 1 hour Meditation session on July 18th at the Vernon Japanese Cultural Centre. He will gladly give instructions if you are new to Meditation. From the Vernon Morningstar: "You may have heard of Jazzercise, and other activities aimed at improving health. But a new program in town is using the power of voice to to aid wellness. Singersizing comes to the Halina Centre, starting Monday, March 23, with sessions to continue each Monday following, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Wind down from 6:00-8:30pm with a deep stretch on the outdoor yoga platform at Predator Ridge while watching the sunset. One ticket includes: a 60 minute yoga flow, while you soak in the spectacular view of Okanagan Lake, and after Savasana ~ enjoy a glass of local Okanagan wine as you watch the sunset over the hills.

Directions to the meeting spot will be emailed to you a few days before class. Please wear good walking shoes, bring water, and your own mat.

Rustler's Table at Vernon's Historic O'Keefe Ranch will be hosting local musician and singer Marv Machura and welcoming guests to the dance floor, 7-9 pm. "I will be performing all the great country dance music from artists like Allan Jackson, Kenny Chesney, Brooks and Dunn, etc." said Machura. It will be a two-stepping good time for all those who love to listen to and dance to country music.
