Water restored to businesses and residences; road repairs continue

Road Update

Repairs to a water main that ruptured on 32 Avenue yesterday have been completed and water service restored as of 1:30 a.m. City crews will continue to repair the road and expect paving to be completed by end of day on Wednesday.

Single-lane traffic will remain in effect. Please be patient or choose alternate routes of travel.

Previously: 8:20 p.m. -- Water to businesses and residents along 32 Street is expected to be restored by 11 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, following a water main break that disrupted traffic and water service.

City crews will continue to repair the damage to the main and the road. Single lane traffic will be in effect while repairs are completed, which is anticipated to be during the afternoon of Thursday, August 24. Drivers are asked to choose alternate routes of travel where possible.

Previously: Following a large water main break, 32 Street is closed to northbound traffic. Water service to businesses along 32 Street from 39 Avenue to 41 Avenue has been cut off until repairs to the water main have been completed.

Drivers are asked to be patient or choose alternate routes of travel.

At this time, there is no estimated time for the restoration of services.
