This past weekend, the City made improvements to the 31st Avenue parking lot (located at 31st Avenue and 29th Street) to allow more vehicles to park in the lot.
During the upgrades and realignment of parking stalls, the pay station was moved from the center of the parking lot to the entrance off 31st Avenue. Unfortunately, as a result of the move, the machine has malfunctioned and is currently out of order.
The City encourages motorists to use the PaybyPhone option in the lot for daily and hourly permits. Permits purchased in the 29th Street Lot (located at the corner of 29th Street and 30th Avenue) with credit card or coin can also be displayed in the 31st Avenue lot until the pay station has been repaired.
The City appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding while this machine is being repaired. For more information on parking options in Vernon, please visit the City’s website at www.vernon.ca/parking.
