The City of Vernon would like to correct an error in communication.
Starting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, a detour will be in place between Orchard Hill Road and Sunnyview Road, while crews install a sanitary manhole. Bella Vista Road is expected to reopen the following day (Thursday, April 14) by 4:00 p.m. Please note, these timelines may change if emergencies arise.
The City apologizes for any confusion and appreciates everyone’s patience and understanding.

Work is set to begin this week on a portion of Bella Vista Road, which will require a brief detour.
Starting at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, a detour will be in place between Orchard Hill Road and Sunnyview Road, while crews install a sanitary manhole. Bella Vista Rd is expected to reopen the following day by 4:00 p.m. These timelines may change if emergencies arise.
Local traffic will still have access to the construction area during the closure.
For the safety of workers and public, please slow down in construction and detour zones, and obey all traffic control measures. Minor travel delays should be expected. The City appreciates everyone’s patience while this project is being completed.
