As of noon, March 17 (today), Commonage Road will re-open to through traffic.
However, motorists are advised of a traffic pattern change for a portion of Commonage Road in the 500 Block, adjacent to Roses Pond:
- Single lane alternating traffic during the day, while construction continues, and;
- Two-way traffic during the evenings.
Some delays should be excepted for motorists in the area; however, every effort will be made to minimize disruptions. For the safety of workers and public, please slow down and obey traffic control personnel and signage in the area.
The recent full closure of Commonage Road was required to allow crews to connect the newly installed spray irrigation pipe to an existing pipe. It is anticipated that the spray irrigation system will be back in service within the next few weeks, while overall project construction wrapping up in mid-April.
The City appreciates everyone's patience while this important work is being completed.
