The Tronson Road boat launch is temporarily closed due to debris build up following yesterday's wind storm. City crews are removing debris today and expect the boat launch to be open by 6 p.m. tonight.
Boating on Okanagan and Kalamalka Lakes is strongly discouraged while while the lakes are at flood levels. The City of Vernon is keeping boat launches open for boat owners needing to remove their vessels from the water.
