Motorists are advised of a temporary road closure on Pleasant Valley Road while crews complete repairs to underground sanitary sewer infrastructure.
Starting at 6:30 a.m. on Monday, August 31, Pleasant Valley Road will be closed in both directions between the roundabout and 37 Avenue. Work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1.
A detour will be in place using 37 Avenue and 32 Avenue (see map below).
Local access to nearby businesses and residences will be maintained throughout the work.
Motorists should expect minor delays in the area and are encouraged to allow additional travel time. The City will make every effort to minimize disruptions. For the safety of workers and the public, drivers are asked to obey all traffic control signage and reduce their speed when travelling near the work zone.
