Motorists are advised of a temporary lane closure on 32 Avenue between 32 Street and 33 Street on July 28 as road and intersection improvement work takes place.
Work will begin at 3:00 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 7:00 p.m. The project includes road grinding, installation of new traffic signal loops, and repaving, with all work scheduled to be completed the same day.
During construction:
- The eastbound lane on 32 Avenue between 32 Street and 33 Street will be closed for the day.
- There may be brief traffic interruptions at the 32 Avenue and 33 Street intersection during the afternoon while paving is underway.
- Traffic control personnel and signage will be in place to direct motorists safely through the area.
Access to adjacent businesses will be maintained, however, customers and staff accessing parking at 3105, 3110, 3202, and 3204 32 Avenue will need to use the rear laneway during construction.
Motorists are encouraged to allow for extra travel time, obey all traffic control signage and personnel, and use caution when travelling through the work zone. A map of the work zone is available below.
