Tee boxes at Lakers Disc Golf Course temporarily closed

The City of Vernon has poured concrete pads for the tee boxes at Lakers Disc Golf Course. Previously these tee areas consisted of granular material; however, due to the amount of usage and more consistent play, they became unsafe.

The concrete pads were poured on September 23 and require seven days to cure. The Parks Department has installed construction fencing around the tee boxes, which will be removed on September 30.

The City requests that the public respects the closure of the tee boxes and limits play around the area until the fencing is removed.
