A temporary road closure will be in effect on 27th Street this week to allow crews to flush critical storm infrastructure.
Beginning as early as 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, the northbound lane of 27th Street between Highway 6 and 32nd Avenue will be closed. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, avoid the area and use alternate routes where possible. Local traffic will continue to have access to nearby businesses and residences.
The work is expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2026, subject to weather conditions and other factors.
Drivers are reminded to slow down in construction zones, watch for roadside workers, and follow all posted traffic control measures. The City appreciates your patience and cooperation while this work is underway.
