The City of Vernon would like to advise residents that the Spring leaf clear bag pick-up program is experiencing a slight delay, due to higher than normal volumes of bags being left for collection this year.
The program is currently one day behind normal garbage collection schedules. Therefore, if your regular collection day is Thursday, the bags are scheduled to be picked up tomorrow (Friday, April 24). If your regular collection day is Friday, clear bags will be picked up Monday (April 27).
The City apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your understanding.
