Restoration work continues at Kal Tire Place following flooding on the lower levels of the facility on the weekend. Cleaning crews have finished in lower dressing room and hallway areas. Temporary flooring will be installed today in preparation for the Vernon Vipers season opener this Saturday.

Environmental testing on the facility has been completed and preliminary results may be available by weekend. Staff at Kal Tire Place do not anticipate any concerns with test results.

Vipers were on the ice on Wednesday afternoon for practice and staff hope to have most user groups playing at Kal Tire Place starting later today.

The full cost of damage is not yet known.
