The City of Vernon would like to advise the public that Polson Park will be closed to vehicle traffic tomorrow (August 25) between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for construction.
The City is continuing its mitigation and maintenance work around the playground and spray park where the ground is saturated from high groundwater.
Pedestrians are asked to stay away from the fenced off portion of the park, which remains closed for public safety.
Pedestrians and cyclists are also reminded that the park trail will be closed until September 30, while the path is paved and new lighting is installed. Details about a pedestrian detour around the park are available here.
