Overnight work required for sanitary sewer main flushing and inspections

News

The City would like to advise the public of two sanitary sewer main flushing projects that will require overnight work along portions of 28th Avenue and 41st Avenue this week.

Part of the project includes CCTV inspection of the underground infrastructure, which means work needs to be done when there is minimum flow moving through the sewer system.

On Thursday, August 11, and Friday August 12, crews will be flushing and conducting CCTV work on 41st Avenue between 30th and 32nd Streets, as well as on 28th Avenue between 30th and 32nd Streets. The work is expected to take place between 1:00 and 7:00 a.m. each day.

While flushing is taking place, residents in the surrounding area may hear some noise. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption in the area. The City appreciates everyone’s patience while the work is being completed.

A map of the two project areas is available below.
