Public Notice

Vernon residents are reminded that Budget Open Houses begin tomorrow, offering an opportunity to share feedback on the 2026 Draft Budget.

This year, there are two in-person opportunities to provide input before budget deliberations:

  • Silverstar Brewing (2933a 30th Ave) — November 18, 3:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.

  • City Hall, Council Chambers (3400 30th Street) — November 19, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Free parking is available during both events in the front lot at City Hall.

At these Open Houses, you can also learn more about essential city services, including:

  • Parks and Public Works

  • Infrastructure projects

  • Community planning and transportation

  • Community safety

  • Recreation and the Active Living Centre

Both events are casual, family-friendly drop-ins where residents can meet members of Council, ask questions, and share ideas.

Your input matters! Community feedback is a key part of the budget process. Reviewing the draft plan and sharing your priorities helps Council make informed decisions.
