Free public transit will be available in Vernon during the RespectFEST 2017 Multicultural Festival on September 23. The festival will take place in downtown Vernon at the Civic Plaza and Spirit Square, and will include performances, singing, dancing, and food vendors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The City will provide free transit during the festival to improve accessibility to and from the event, and manage traffic and parking demands in the downtown core.
