Motorists traveling near Lakeview Park next week may need to take a brief detour while crews update utilities in the area.
Starting as early as 7:30 a.m. on November 7, crews will be updating utilities along a portion of 18th Street and 30th Avenue where the Lakeview Wading Pool (a.k.a. the Peanut Pool) is being revitalized. Access on these roads will be for local traffic only. The work is anticipated to be completed by November 10. Please note, these timelines may change if emergencies arise.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and consider taking alternative routes. Please be sure to slow down in construction and detour zones. The City appreciates everyone’s patience while this project is being completed.
