Construction along a portion of Tronson Road may cause some travel delays for motorists over the next couple weeks. The work is taking place between Okanagan Landing Road and Lakeshore Road.
Currently, single lane alternating traffic is in place. However, as early as Monday, June 20, the road will be closed to through traffic. Crews are making upgrades to the sanitary sewer infrastructure and performing road rehabilitation works.
Local traffic will still have access to their properties with the following specifications:
- Residents between 6047 and 6250 Tronson Road can access their properties via Okanagan Landing Road
- Residents between 6630 and 7001 Tronson Road can access their properties via Lakeshore Road
Signage indicating access point information for residents will be posted on the construction site.
All other traffic will be detoured along Lakeshore Road or Bella Vista Road. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and find alternative travel routes. They’re also reminded to slow down and be courteous to other residents and workers in construction and detour zones. Please obey all traffic control measures.
The construction along Tronson Road is expected to be complete by June 30.
Travel delays should be expected; however, every effort will be made to minimize disruptions. The City thanks everyone for their patience and understanding while this work is being completed.
