City of Vernon Mayor Akbal Mund and staff turned out in pink on February 24 as part of Pink Shirt Day, which raises funds and awareness for anti-bullying programs. Since 2008, over $1.2 million has been raised for anti-bullying programs as result of Pink Shirt Day T-Shirts sales and donations.
