The City of Vernon is advising residents and motorists of a temporary intersection closure at 29 Street and 30 Avenue on Sunday, May 31, while City Traffic Signal Technicians replace the traffic signal cabinet at the intersection.
Work will begin at 5:00 a.m. and is expected to take approximately four hours to complete, subject to weather and other factors.
During this time, the intersection will be closed to all traffic, and detours will be in place to help motorists navigate around the work area.
Drivers are reminded to slow down, obey all traffic control signage and detours, and allow extra travel time while work is underway. These measures are in place to help ensure the safety of workers and the public.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation while this essential infrastructure work is completed.
