Lake Access

Vernon residents have said they want better access to Okanagan Lake and it's happening! During the Parks Master Plan process, the public identified lake access as a high priority and here's the response. The Lake Access Plan is updated and available to you via the links below.

With more than 400 meters of new public waterfront access being improved, there will be more room for people to sun and play on the beach, launch a boat, slip a kayak into the water, walk a shoreline, appreciate the quiet water’s edge to watch deer sip cool lake water and a family of ducklings paddle in the reeds.
