Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Bike to Work and School Week. Vernon had the best year ever with over 1,200 riders participating so to date. The week started with the Polson Park Kickoff event hosted by Mayor Mund with skills and safety courses, E-bike demonstrations courtesy of Olympia Cycle and many other great activities. Other events throughout the week included elementary school celebration stations, the Sun Country midweek celebration station on Kalamalka Lake Road and the wrap-up event at Spirit Square with the draw with many prizes including a youth and an adult bike.
