Predator Ridge

The original Predator Ridge Neighbourhood Plan was adopted in 1996 and subsequently updated in 2004. The Plan established land uses and policies to achieve the vision for residential, golf, resort and park development. The golf course and neighbourhood have grown over the last number of years, and it is appropriate to revisit the neighbourhood plan to ensure it is able to respond to changing market conditions and the community values expressed in the Official Community Plan (OCP) 2008

The Predator Ridge Limited Partnership (PRLP) owns the undeveloped lands in the neighbourhood.  They initiated the neighbourhood plan update and hired a planning consultant to draft the proposed Plan. City staff, PRLP staff and the planning consultant have worked together to refine the draft and ensure its consistency with the goals, objectives and policies outlined in OCP 2008.

On October 11, 2011, Council received the draft Plan and endorsed proceeding with public consultation. Open houses were held on November 3, 2011 and November 15, 2011. The draft Plan was revised and refined based on public feedback. At its Regular Meeting of December 12, 2011, Council granted First Reading to the Predator Ridge Neighbourhood Plan Bylaw.
