Tree Maintenance

Trees

Trees located on city boulevards are the responsibility of the City. Each year the City conducts a formal inspection of all boulevard trees and this inspection generates a list of pruning, removal, and planting.

All ornamental trees in the City are pruned annually, usually late fall. Shade trees such as Maple, Elm, and Willow trees are pruned as required.

Trees conducive to tent caterpillars are regularly sprayed. Trees are sprayed on a request basis.

All tree work is done on a contract basis by local professional tree maintenance companies.

If you have concerns with your boulevard tree(s), please call the Operations Department at 54-WORKS,
549-6757.
