The City of Vernon's Liquid Waste Management Plan (LWMP), first adopted in 1999, is being updated to reflect current conditions and preferences. As required by BC's Ministry of Environment, the LWMP Update will help guide wastewater management and capital investment decisions for the next 20 years. Stage 1 is underway; Stages 2 and 3 will be completed in 2011.
