Please be advised that on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm the City of Vernon will be hosting a public Open House at City Hall regarding the revitalization of Pleasant Valley Road from 32nd Avenue to 48th Avenue. The conceptual design for the revitalization will be presented at the Open House. Your feedback, input and comments on the proposed conceptual design are valuable in assisting the City of Vernon as we move forward in the design process.
The conceptual design material presented at meeting is available on this page below. Please note the following:
-The material presented is a conceptual design and it will continue to evolve based on the comments from this process and further design.
-The project will be phased into at least 4 phases due to the length of project and required capital.
-The project would likely start at the south end 32 Avenue and move north to 48 Avenue in each stage.
-Timing for the project is subject to capital funding and asset management priorities. The first phase of the project could occur in 2-10 years.
